Our Story
Trash Buddy was born from a simple idea shared between two friends who knew there had to be a better way to keep apartment buildings clean and residents happy.
With backgrounds in hospitality, customer service, waste management, and construction, we’ve seen firsthand how important organization, efficiency, and care are in every community.
Having both lived and worked in apartment buildings, we understand the day-to-day challenges that strata councils, property managers, and residents face when it comes to waste and recycling. Overflowing bins, misplaced trash, and cluttered garbage rooms aren’t just messy — they create frustration for everyone.
But what really stood out to us was seeing elderly residents and busy families struggle to bring their garbage down multiple flights or across the property, especially at night or at inconvenient times.
That’s when we realized this wasn’t just about cleanliness — it was about convenience, comfort, and quality of life.
